Vince Melouney (Bee Gees, Aztecs, John Paul Young etc)
Vince formed the original Billy Thorpe and the Aztecs and later In October 1966 Vince headed off to London to further his music career. ‘The Bee Gees’ made the journey to London a couple of months later signing a recording contract with Robert Stigwood. Through the Easy Beats (who were also in London at the time) Vince heard that the Gibb Brothers were in town and made contact. He was asked to join them and their drummer Colin Petersen in their recording sessions. Once the album "Bee Gees First" had been completed Vince Melouney became the official 5 th member. THE BEE GEES proved with their second album that they really had become a tight unit. The overall sound was much heavier and Vince Melouney's lead guitar was used more prominent on several songs. Vince stayed with The Bee Gees and was part of the worldwide success of the group.
This will be a night of great music, nostalgia and good old fun.
